Gennifer Deri (1991) lives in Cardoso, Lucca. She is attending a Master degree in painting at Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara (Giovanni Dessì’s courses) and she holds a Bachelor degree in painting. Her bachelor thesis was theoretical and it was about the artist from “Gruppo T”. In 2019 always in the same institution and professorship he obtained a second level degree, presenting a theoretical thesis on Art and Feminism. Recently Gennifer has won Maurizio Cattelan’s project “Eternity” in Carrara; she has won “Eneganart-Biennale delle Accademie” in Florence; she has also won the “Rotary Club” prize in Carrara and she has been selected for the “Artifact Prize” in Modena. Her works were exhibited in various collective exhibitions: White Wave, Massa, 2017; Belle Arti in Procura, Massa, 2017, (catalogue); Belle Arti in Procura, Massa, 2018, (catalogue); Limen Prize, Vibo Valenzia, 2017 (catalogue). Her works also were exhibited in three personal exhibition: With the body the action, Palace of Culture, Cardoso, 2017, (Catalogue); exhibition of Filarete Gallery, 2018, (catalogue); Riformulation 1, B’art Gallery, 2018 ( pieghevole). Also in 2018 she was the winner of an artistic residence "Michelangelo Ricarica", exhibition Centre of Visual Arts, Pietrasanta, 2018 (catalog).
